How high are the Erg Chebbi dunes?

The tallest Erg Chebbi dunes rise to roughly 150 metres — the highest sand dunes in Morocco.

The big ridge glows orange at sunrise and sunset and takes 30–45 sweaty minutes to climb. The reward is a view over 28 km of sand sea on one side and the black hammada plains on the other.
