Should I stay in a desert camp or a hotel in town?

Sleep at least one night in a dune-side camp — it is the entire point of coming — and add a town hotel only for extra nights.

The camp night delivers everything the desert is famous for: sunset sand, bonfire drums, deep silence and dawn from a dune crest. Hotels are comfortable but generic; the camp is the memory.
