FAQ · Safety & Practical

What should I wear in the desert?

Light, loose, covering clothes and closed shoes by day, a genuinely warm layer for after sunset, and a scarf (cheche) against sun and blown sand.

Cotton and linen beat synthetics in the heat, and long sleeves protect better than sunscreen alone. The instant the sun drops, the desert flips a switch — that jacket earns its place nightly.
