What is the Paris-Dakar rally track tour?

A 4x4 excursion following the old Dakar rally piste south of the erg, usually combined with the Mifis mines and visits to nomad tents.

The rally crossed this country in its African era, and the route shows off the black hammada, fossil beds and huge empty horizons. It pairs naturally with Khamlia village for Gnawa music on the way back.
