FAQ · Planning & Timing

What is the best time to arrive at a desert camp?

About 1.5–2 hours before sunset, so you can settle in and be on a dune crest or camel for golden hour.

Arriving mid-afternoon leaves time for mint tea and a shower before the evening show begins. Arrive after dark and you miss the dunes’ best light — though dinner will still be waiting.
