FAQ · Tours, Camels & Activities

Is there a weight limit for camel riding?

Most operators apply a practical limit of about 100 kg (220 lb) per camel; heavier guests simply reach camp by 4x4 instead.

The limit protects the animals, and good camps treat it as non-negotiable. Nobody misses out — the 4x4 dune transfer is a highlight in its own right.
